Loyal Yokefellow is the solo project of Robert Joseph Stewart from Houston, Texas. Guided by exploration and discovery, both musical and emotional, every lyric is a vehicle for uncovering meaning in our experiences, every chord a means to capture and reflect the mood.

Loyal Yokefellow incorporates vocabulary from folk, rock, funk, psychedelic, gospel, and classical, (anything really), with an emphasis on intricate and well-crafted arrangements, dynamics and expansive sections, guided by a Beatles-esque philosophy that no two songs should sound the same.

Robert released his debut album August 29, 2025 and is working to build a band to bring his expansive sound to the stage to captivate and connect with listeners, inspiring and encouraging people in a way that only music can.
